A small hike to a mysterious temple and forest near our dorm.
It was an amazing day with beautiful weather for hiking with a great group of people: even though we did have a typhoon warning, the skies were clear and we wanted to make the most out of the day. It had already been a few days since we arrived in Japan and for the short time that we were there, I saw this white structure, so now that I had the chance, I wanted to get up there to find out what it was.
So, a few friends and I decided to hike up there and see what it was After 30 minutes of walking and climbing a hill, we got to our destination. As we looked around the gorgeous view and the beautiful structure, we found a path around the temple and decided to follow it.
We had no clue how far this trail would take us but it was well worth the 4 hour hike. I would do it again if I could.
