Dublin Pride and Internship Week 2 #HogsAbroad in Ireland

Hey guys! So this will be a shorter blog, simply because I do not have a lot to share. After this weekend’s trip, however, I will have plenty of pictures to share!

Over the weekend, not only did I attend Dublin Pride, I was also a part of several birthday parties. Two of my friends, Shelbi and Nicola celebrated their birthdays. It was really fun to get to be there, with them, celebrating their 21st birthdays!

Dublin Pride Festival

The main highlight of the weekend was our day-long adventure at the Dublin Pride Festival. My friends and I got together in the dorms to get ready. We were all decked out in pride attire, and glitter. It was a hoot to just hang out, and laugh!

After hanging out a bit, we headed down to the city center. There we, unintentionally and quite possibly without permission, walked in the parade. It was basically an epic party! We laughed, walked, and just lived in the moment. Once we reached the end of the parade route, we grabbed lunch, and headed to an actual epic party.

We stayed out, just kept enjoying the sheer amount of people there to celebrate. It was really a pleasure to get to participate!

Internship Week Two
This week, I continued my internship for Follow the Camino and One Foot Abroad. Most of my work this week has been focused on the website. They are re-doing their One Foot Abroad website, so I am helping with the coding and with the content. I get to write blogs, edit previous web content, and help with the design of the website.

It has been really nice to be so welcomed into the circle. I get assigned a ton of projects, and I really feel like I am contributing. I did not know how to feel about the internship going into it, especially since I am not particularly savvy with social media. However, this has been a great experience, and it is only week two!

Unfortunately, I do not have anymore photos from work. Nor do I really have anything else to share in this blog...
