This summer, I will be studying abroad for five weeks in Puebla, Mèxico at UPAEP University. I will be studying Spanish for health professions while also interning at a hospital in Cholula (a city very close to Puebla). During my stay in Puebla I am living with a host mother who speaks only Spanish, so I will be completely immersed in the language and culture for the entire five weeks.
Puebla is a city full of vibrant culture, and it is also rich with history. As a student studying Spanish, I am excited to experience everything that Puebla has to offer in regard to Mexican culture, language, and history. As a public health major pursing a career in medicine, I am excited to learn about the healthcare system and to work in a hospital. I can only imagine the life-changing experiences I am going to have in the next few weeks!
I will keep you all updated as often as I can! I hope that I can give advice on what to do or not to do cuando en México (while in Mexico) based on my experiences! You're welcome to read the rest of my blog at cuandoenmexicoblog.wordpress.com! Adios for now!
