Day Trip to Valencia #HogsAbroad in Spain

Today we took a day trip to Valencia. We went on a private tour around the city for the first half of the day and then went to their famous science museum and aquarium. Touring around the city was my favorite part. We got to see their huge central market which is one of the largest in Europe (Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie rented it out once). We stood in the building where Christopher Columbus was given the financing for his trip that lead to the discovery of North America.
My favorite part, we walked through the most beautiful/breathtaking cathedral i’ve ever seen. This cathedral has the original cup of Jesus that has been carbon-dated back to the last supper. Lastly, we didn’t get to view the exhibit, but we got a glimpse of the underground Roman ruins that the entire city is built on top of. Wow. Overall the whole trip was amazing and I really wish I had more than a day in this beautiful, historic city.
