Lots of planning and a new flatmate! #HogsAbroad

So, after my last update I was informed that we got a new flatmate from Japan! He’s moved into our one vacant room, and will be here for only a month.

The next exciting thing to happen this week is that we (flatmates) all got together and started planing for our long Easter break. We were mostly meeting because one of the girls from Germany wants to host for us for a few days and show us around her part of Germany and maybe a bit of Switzerland! After that I and two of the other Americans decided that we wanted to go to similar places so we’ll be going to Paris, Rome, Venice, and Berlin before we meet up in the south part of Germany with everyone else. Today we made it official by buying a Eurostar ticket from London to Paris. This took us a few days of planning since we were looking at airlines as well.

Since we talked about Europe I should mention that a few updates ago I forgot to mention that I went to a speech called: “Should the UK leave the EU”, so that was interesting (The answer was no).

Anyway, speaking of planning, I should probably mention school. I did a lot of research and planning for a group presentation this week with my two Italian group members. We have a rough draft of a presentation, which we’ll give on Wednesday.

Lastly, I think some of us might be going to the sea tomorrow, so if we all go look forward to some more pictures!
Until next time,
Reed
