Arrival in Brisbane #HogsAbroad in Australia

Our group arrived safely in Australia and began our adventure in the city of Brisbane! Although tired and facing jet-lag, our enthusiasm and excitement of the day’s schedule kept us moving at a brisk pace. The city itself is remarkably clean, which was pleasantly surprising for a large city. The architecture is interesting, blending old and new designs. We enjoyed stopping at Kangaroo Lookout point for some photo opportunities.

The river was winding through the city, and magnificent bridges connected the city. Weather is winter here, but feels great to us (about 75 Fahrenheit rather than our 90 degree plus weather in Arkansas). All the leaves are green, and the city is thriving.

Here’s to more adventures tomorrow!
