Bonjour!
Welcome to my first blog post about my study abroad! What an exciting time it is to be in college. I’ve learned so much in the three years of being at the University of Arkansas and continue to learn everyday. One of the things I’ve always heard people talk about while in college is the opportunity to study abroad and immerse themselves in another culture. This coming May, I will join those group of people as I have the opportunity to do the same in Belgium!! I will be learning about sustainability in the euro food zone at the University of Gent. While this area of study will be something completely new and unfamiliar to me, I can’t wait to learn all about it. In addition to hearing lectures from distinguished professors at the university, we will also get to attend field trips to breweries, chocolate factories, production plants, museums, and more. My time abroad will also feature a weekend trip to the coast (more on that later)! The countdown to Belgium is on and I can’t wait! Stay tuned for more posts on the days leading up to my departure!
Au revoir!
