España is beautiful! #HogsAbroad in Spain #WanderlustWednesday

Let me start off by saying that pictures don’t do Spain any justice! These two weeks that I have been here, I have gotten familiar with my surroundings and explored the beautiful city of Madrid. I have been to Buen Retiro Park twice to view the sunset. Retiro Park reminds me a lot of Lake Atlanta back at home, so I will definitely be going there when I’m feeling home sick! The Park will let you rent a boat for 6 Euros, which I might do when I go back.

Every morning, I pass by Sol to go to the train station that takes me to school.

This past weekend we visited Toledo, an ancient city on a hill. We first stopped by a beautiful cathedral! Unfortunetly, we couldn’t go inside, but the outside was very detailed and beautfiul. I can’t begin to imagine how pretty the inside is!

Toledo has great VIEWS! We took this quick hike on the outskirts of Toledo that led us to a rock that overlooked the city of Toledo.In Toledo, we stopped by a restraunt called Lizarran. I had a beef stew that is a well known plate in Toledo, spaghetti, and ice cream for 10 euros! Great price for a lot of food.

            

Overall, I have enjoyed España! The best 5 months of my life lie ahead of me, and I can’t wait to see what other adventures I will go on!
