We will be open from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, through Thursday, December 21. The University and all offices will be closed beginning Friday, December 22 and resume normal business hours on Tuesday, January 2. Walk-In Wednesdays will resume the first week of classes, on Wednesday, January 17.
Spring Hogs Abroad 101 Sessions
Beginning this spring semester, Hogs Abroad 101 sessions will take place EVERY WEEKDAY from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Study Abroad House.
Hogs Abroad 101 will resume the first week of classes, on Tuesday, January 16.
Learn the study abroad basics – program types, locations, housing options, scholarships, etc. – through these peer-led info sessions. These take place from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm every weekday throughout the semester. Space is limited to the first 10 students, so get there early!

Fund for Education Abroad for 2018-2019

The mission of the Fund for Education Abroad (FEA) is to provide scholarships and ongoing support to students who are underrepresented among the US study abroad population. FEA makes life-changing, international experiences accessible to all by supporting minority, community college, and first-generation college students before, during, and after they participate in education abroad programs. Boren Awards
The U of A campus deadline is mid-January, 2018
Students must pursue study of languages, geographic areas and fields of study critical to U.S. National Security. Recipients are expected to fulfill service requirement with U.S. government upon graduation or termination of studies. Apply for Your Passport:
If you haven’t already done so, now is a great time to locate your birth certificate and submit a passport application. You can find instructions on how to apply using the following link: http://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/passports.html.
You can also visit U of A Passport Services at pmcs.uark.edu/passport-services/.
And, once you have your passport, be sure to log in to your Hogs Abroad Portal to upload your passport information to your application!
