Paella is known as one of the most traditional Spanish dishes.
Although Paella is associated as a “Spanish dish”, to the people of
Spain it is seen as a traditional dish of Valencia, Spain (southeast
city on the mediterranean). Valencia is where the traditional dish was
originated and is still known today for the city with the best Paella. There are different variations of Paella but the most traditional are, Paella de Valencia (chicken, rabbit, vegetables), Paella de Mariscos (seafood paella), and Paella de Verduras (vegetable paella). They are all different variations of the traditional rice dish. While in Valencia, home to the Paella, I got to try one for the first time and I had a little bit of the Paella de Mariscos and Paella de Valencia. I have to say, the Paella was amazing but the seafood one was the best.
