Tower House and Palazzo Venezia: Day 17 #HogsAbroad in Rome

Hey all! This is probably going to be a pretty short post because I haven’t really done anything today to be honest. This morning for class we started in the classroom for lecture and then we got to visit a tower house, which was really cool and Palazzo Venezia. The tower house has been turned into a hotel and only has six floors, of which have one room on each floor. We got to visit the rooftop terrace and got a lovely view of the city. Though it was very frightening getting up there because the stairs were glass and did not seem very sturdy to me AT ALL. But, I’m alive to tell the tale and that’s good, but I do not see myself going back up them again anytime soon.

After class I figured out how to get back to my apartment alone on the bus system because everyone else in my class were going in different directions. I made it back successfully and was pretty proud of myself to be honest. When I got back, I made myself lunch and then took a nap.

When I got up I started looking for things for my paper, one of the girls who lives downstairs stopped by for a bit and then I started looking into flights for Germany! I have a flight figured out, but the site I’m using is being a pain right now, so I don’t know if my flight is actually booked. So that’s a little frightening. But, I’m working on figuring it out and I’m looking up things for my paper. And that’s really all for day. Not too much happened, but it’s okay. I’ll hopefully have a more exciting day to post about tomorrow. Until then–arrivederci! (Also pictures still aren’t working for whatever reason! Sorry!)
