Hard Work Begins #HogsAbroad in Belize

After just a couple of days into the second week, our exhaustion is beginning to kick in. After analyzing the schedule, we’ve got something to keep us busy every second of the day.

For the last two days, I have gotten to work within schools and teach standard 5 the lesson plan we prepared just weeks ago. It was such a cool experience to visit the type of environment students get their education at, compared to how it would typically be in the United States.

Along side my interaction within the classroom, I got to help administer computer sessions. These computer sessions were available to those who were interested in the idea of coding, or those who simply wanted to learn more about Microsoft word, excel or powerpoint.

Our attendance has continued to grow ever since we began, and this is getting my classmates and I more excited about what else we can educate the students on.
