The three of us are currently on a train to Venice, and the view is
amazing. It’s been distracting me from writing all these blogs! The
train was cheaper than airlines and much cheaper than the euro rail too,
so that doesn’t hurt. Rome was stressful at points, but absolutely
amazing, so I’m sad to see it go. It was fun walking in the middle of
side streets, walking in front of cars to cross major ones, and the
great weather didn’t hurt either. However, I am looking forward to
relaxing for a couple of days in Venice, as there’s not much there we
all want to do.
We have also finally diverged from some other American’s studying at
Essex. They were in Paris and Rome a day before us each, but our trips
overlapped and we even saw the same things one day! It almost seemed
like we were following them but, now they’re in Switzerland by Lake
Lucerne, which I’m very jealous of. That said I’m really excited for a
gondola ride and to see Venice!
Until next time,
Reed
