People watching in a train station has now become my favorite past
time. I become curious to know where all these people are going and what
they’re carrying. Why that guy in his nice suit and brief case is
sprinting to a platform or what the girl who looks younger than me is
doing with a giant hiking back pack. Where she has been, what she has
seen, and where she may be going next.
Part of me knows that life isn’t always that exciting though. These
people may just be doing their daily routine or their life just isn’t
that exciting. Their bag or brief case may not carry a story, but
where’s the imagination in that. It may be naive but I like putting a
story to these passing faces in the train station. I may never know
their real life but I still find fun in imaging what it could be. The
beauty of a stranger is a great thing to witness.
