Clubs, Games, Movies, and Clubs #HogsAbroad

Yes, I know I said clubs twice, and we’ll get to that. First though: sorry I haven’t update in a while! I haven’t traveled or done anything that I’d consider “blog worthy” in quite a bit. So for this update I thought I’d share with you what I do for fun when I’m not traveling.

As I’ve mentioned before a group of us from my flat get together and play games, usually cards, or we occasionally watch TV/Movies. Recently we’ve been watching episodes of “Adam Ruins Everything,” which I highly recommend, but on Wednesday a few of us went to see the new Deadpool movie! My God was it good/everything I wanted it to be.

Secondly, sometimes on weekends where we don’t travel, a few of us go out to one of the campus clubs/bars. Usually there’s some event going on and a few people from the flat going. I don’t always go, but when I do I usually have a great time with everyone.

Lastly, I’ve been participating in the sports clubs. I love the sports clubs at Arkansas, so getting involved in the clubs here makes the university seem more like a new home. I’ve gone to Archery, as I’ve mentioned before, kickboxing, and judo. Unfortunately, my knees were too scrapped up from my first judo session to go again this week and there’s no activity in the Taekwondo club, but I’ll take what I can get from kickboxing. Who knows maybe I’ll try Kung Fu on Monday before kickboxing.

Until next time,
Reed
