Hello all! My name is Amelia Windsor, and in less than two
weeks, I will be on a plane to Prague. As a rising senior and a communications
major, I found that the CIEE New Media + Communications program that takes
place in Prague and Seville would be the best way to spend my last summer
before joining the working world next year.
I’m absolutely thrilled to be
going, a little nervous, and still have about a thousand things to buy before I
can say I’m really ready to go. I’m most excited about trying countless new
foods, learning about the varying cultures in the two cities, and seeing how
all those things play into how Europeans consume media and how it varies from
how we consume it here.
I’ll be updating as often as possible, as it seems like
Prague isn’t a typical location for U of A students who choose to study abroad
and I can’t wait to share my experiences with you all!
