CEA Info Table: November 7. Program representative Kelly Wilkinson will be on campus to talk about study abroad opportunities through CEA Global Education. CEA offers a wide variety of study abroad programs at accredited schools and universities for summer, semester and academic year terms. CEA programs are available in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, South Africa, and Spain. Stop by the Union Food Court on Thursday, November 7, from 11-1 to learn more!

U of A Spanish in Puebla Info Session: November 7 & November 13. Learn more about the Service-Learning Internship opportunities new to the U of A Summer Program in Puebla, Mexico. Program offers Spanish Language Immersion plus Internships in Health Care, Business, Community Service or Education. Students who complete the program will receive 6 hours of intermediate or advanced Spanish credit. Drop in and join us for light refreshments, a brief slide show, and ample opportunity for Q & A.

International Education Week: November 10-17. This week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. Events include: Internationals Dress Day & Bazaar, Study Abroad Photo Contest, Essay Contest, Dance Around the World, Deans Scholar Reception, Diwali Banquet, Taste of Africa, Behind My Flags, and International Coffee Hour. U of A French in Besancon Info Meeting: November 12. Discover la cancoillotte, le vin de paille, and the beauty of la FrancheComté by participating in the summer program in Besançon, the Venice of France! This popular program at the world renowned Centre de Linguistique Appliquée (CLA) offers students at the intermediate and advanced levels an intensive program in French language and culture.  Students must have completed FREN 1013 or higher prior to program start.  6 hours of credit will be awarded.  Proposed travel dates are May 27-June 28, 2014. Dr. Kathy Comfort, the faculty director of the program will give a presentation of the program and there will be time for questions as well.  This meeting will take place in KIMP 209 from 4:30-5:30. Peace Corps Info Session: November 12. Would you like to immerse yourself in a new culture, learn a new language, and have the experience of a lifetime? April Conway, a regional Peace Corps recruiter, will be presenting on Tuesday, November 12, at 4pm in Old Main 319. Join us at this information session to learn more!

U of A Business in Greece Study Abroad Info Meeting: November 19. Don’t miss this great opportunity to learn about the WCOB Greece Summer 2014 study abroad program from the faculty leaders—Dr. Douglas & Dr. Cronan, and eat free pizza.  You will learn about an exciting and valuable study abroad trip that provides students with insights into the international business and political environment within the European Union as well as a chance to experience Greek culture.  During this four-week program students will earn 6 credits and be introduced to key issues in the European/Greek/American economic, business, and e-business relationships.  Guest lecturers will be from the business, academic, and political community.  Tentative program dates are May 13-June 10, 2014.  This meeting will be in WCOB 343 from 11:30-1:00 p.m.
