Today is the first day in Belize. My group arrived in
Belize at 3pm Belizean time. Our drive down from Belize City was beautiful!
There were so many hills and mountains covered in palm and citrus trees. Once
we arrived in Dangriga, they dropped us off at our hotels. We then walked along
the beach and also walked around town. We were even able to see a futbol game!
It has been very nice thus far but also very hot. A word to the wise, prepare
for being hot and sticky ALL day and night. If you could bring a small fan you
definitely should consider it. Well we are about to go to the other hotel for
our groups meetings. Talk to you soon!
