I’m not gonna lie, I totally forget what day I’m on when I title these
things. I always have to check the one prior, but for this one I didn’t,
so I’m hoping I’m actually right in saying it’s day 14. But anyway:
It’s day 14 and that means I’m two weeks in. I’d say I’m pretty
adjusted, it’s still a little weird being here, but it feels pretty
natural by now, which is nice. Still lonely at times, but not too much I
can do about that.
Today there really isn’t too much to report since it
was a travel day, but I’m back from Venice and sitting in my apartment
in Rome now. Today consisted of a 3 hour and 45 minute train ride,
unpacking my weekend bag, showering and relaxing for a bit until I
FaceTimed with my parents. The wifi was awful though so it hung up about
15 times at least.
After I talked with them for a bit, I went with my
roommates to get gelato and walk around a park down our street which was
nice, but it didn’t last too long, so when I got back to the apartment I
didn’t really know what to do with myself. I’m currently talking to a
friend from home though, so it’s not so lonely around here while my
roommates are with friends. I’m looking over some notes for class and
hoping for the best for a quiz I have tomorrow, but I have no idea what
to expect from it, so we’ll see how it goes! That’s really all for now,
but I’ll hopefully have more to report tomorrow! Until then–arrivederci!
(I don’t really have any pictures from today, sorry!)
