This morning we had to say goodbye to Pantelis and Tryfon, which
was so incredibly sad. We were all heartbroken driving away, but we will
see them again soon! We headed out for a day at Meteora. The
monasteries that we visited were all on the edges of mountains and very
secluded. There used to be 24 but now there are 6 left. They all hold
very few monks or nuns. They were all painted with amazing frescoes and
had so many cool artifacts. We found our hotel down town and spent the
rest of the night shopping and eating dinner. One of my favorite things
about Greece is the slow pace of life and being able to wander around
cities freely.
