For the last three weeks I’ve been volunteering at Fairy Knowe
Backpackers in Wilderness, South Africa. Located on the edge of the
Wilderness National Forest, our backpackers is tucked away from the main
roads and has an incredible atmosphere of tranquility-fun-adventure.

Although
its winter here and the water was ridiculously cold, we couldn’t resist
getting in.
There are actually two waterfalls here, and this is the
second, higher-up, one.
To reach the waterfalls we kayaked for about 1.5
hours, followed by a 30 minute hike. |

Dinner together every night. Always something different, but always delicious.
When the weather is nice we take it outside! |
