It was worth it in the end to get the beautiful views of the mountains, and get to explore the cave. We then continued to Elafonisi where it was incredibly windy. The water was crystal clear and absolutely gorgeous, and less salty than you would imagine a salt water sea to be! Even though the wind made us shiver we still were so happy to be near the Mediterranean!
Later that night we took Greek and Cretan traditional dance lessons. They were similar to the dances seen in My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I asked our instructor if she'd ever seen the movie, but she had never heard of it. We all took to it really well after some practice, and had a lot of fun! Tomorrow we are headed to a 10 mile hike through the Samaria Gorge! Every day keeps getting better and better!
