Hey guys! My name is Isaac Morgan and I am a History major. In a few weeks I will be going to Japan to study at Kanto Gakuin University in Yokohama Japan. I'm super excited! Over the summer I have been working odd jobs. It is hard to find a job when they know you will be out of the country in a few months. But it has all worked out. I've been buying little things lately for my stay in Japan. Like a passport wallet, camera case, bigger memory cards for the camera and some flash drives to hold pictures. I'm hoping to get a lot of nice pictures while in Japan. It's been a challenge to keep studying Japanese over the summer. But in the past month I've been studying pretty hard. It's amazing how fast you can forget things when you don't use them often. The Japanese use Chinese characters in their writing called Kanji. I haven't used them in a while and I have forgotten how to write bunches of them. It's weird though because if I see them I can still read them. I can't wait to be completely surrounded by Japanese all of the time. I'm hoping that it will make my Japanese much better. My first couple of posts are probably going to be pretty dry and boring but once I am in Japan I will have much more interesting things to write about =-)
