To end the day on Wednesday I mentioned that I had written on here a bit. I had forgotten to mention that, for the second or third time, a few flatmates and I got together for a tv/movie night. That night we watched a show called “Adam Ruins Everything,” which is both hilarious and informative.
So on Thursday, we finally got to meet our RA and had to agree on a few things, sign a contract ect. Normal Freshman like RA stuff.
After he left, our German flatmates made us German style pancakes!
For dinner! These were like crêpes, but a bit thicker. Not only that
but, there was a mushroom sauce that we put on the pancakes.
Furthermore, there was also cheese, ham, and a mixture of cinnamon and
sugar that we could mix and match to put on the pancakes. After we had
everything we wanted on them, we rolled them up and ate them like
burritos. I don’t even like mushrooms, but these were amazing. To make
our night even better, a fellow American knew how to make pancakes from
scratch (they don’t have pancake mix here). So, he made us normal
pancakes and m&m pancakes (he couldn’t find chocolate chips).Lastly, on Friday I tried to go to bed early since a few of us were getting up early in the morning to go to London. However! Not only did I have a hard time falling asleep, but for the fourth time since I’ve arrived a fire alarm went off! Luckily, I wasn’t actually asleep, and this is the first time it’s gone off at night.
London trip blog and photos are to come soon!

Until next time,
