ReCap of the Brand New #hogsabroad International Business in Panama Tour

My name is Roseanne Martinez. I am a studying at the Walton College of Business and I am focusing on marketing with a minor in Finance. At the being of the summer I participated in a study abroad trip in Panama City to learn about the supply change management.  A few things I did to get ready to go abroad were to get my passport, and appropriate shots for the country, also look at weather conditions. Since I have been here it has been quite interesting as far as Panama's social and cultural scenes.

The people of Panama are very hospitable to us; everyone makes us feel as one of their friends. When it comes to prices of products here are very inexpensive, which is great when you do not want to spend a lot of money.  Also the food here seems so much fresher then in Arkansas. The only down side about the food is that there is not much spice and there is a lot of fried foods, rice, chicken, and fish. Also it could help to know some Spanish because there is not to many people that speck English here.  What I did not expect to find was trash everywhere, it is almost imposable to find a trashcan in the city or towns we have visited. People just throw the trash on the streets, which than ends up everywhere.  The over all experience I have had has been great.

I have included some pictures that I got to capture my experiences while I have been here in Panama:
