Spring 2013 Exchange Programs Application Deadline October 1. Ever wanted to switch places with a student in another country? Pay
UofA tuition and spend the semester somewhere else! The deadline for exchange
and direct enrollment programs is October 1. Check out all your options at: http://studyabroad.uark.edu/exchange.
UA Campus in Rome Info Meetings October 2nd,
8th, 22nd, 30th. The
Office of Study Abroad will host several meetings in October for students to
find out more about spending the summer at the UA Campus in Rome. You’ll
learn more about how to earn core credits (those courses needed to graduate in
any major), explore Rome and other areas of Italy, get more insider info on
European studies topics, or practice your drawing skills in the art courses…all
for UA credit & UA tuition (without fees)! The informational meetings
for our UA Summer Campus in Rome program are all from 4:00pm-5:00pm in the
Foreign Language Lab, JBHT room 207, and will be on Tuesday, October 2nd,
Monday October 8th, Monday October 22nd, and Tuesday

UA Community Development in Belize-Nutrition
and Business Project Info Meetings October 5th and November 6th
& 7th. University of Arkansas faculty project leaders
from the Bumpers College will discuss this upcoming summer’s community
development study abroad trip to Belize. The Nutrition Project Info
Meeting will take place Friday, October 5, from 1-2 pm in the HOEC Living Room.

The Business Projects Info Meeting will take
place Tuesday, November 6, from 11:30am-1pm in WCOB 326. There will be
pizza, photos, and information geared towards business students! There will be
a second information session (with pizza!) the same time and place on
Wednesday, November 7.

Apply For Your Passport! One of the first steps towards studying abroad is to apply for
your passport! To review the passport application requirements, visit: http://travel.state.gov/passport/. In Fayetteville, you can go to the Post Office on
Dickson Street to apply for a passport, or visit your local post office.
Encourage your parents and friends to get their passports as well in case they
would like to visit or in case of an emergency.
