AIFS Representative Coming to Campus February 13. AIFS representative Michelle Walters will be on campus to chat about the great program opportunities offered by AIFS on Monday, February 13, from 11:30am-1:30pm in the Arkansas Union Food Court.
AIFS provides study abroad programs in 21 countries: Australia, Austria, Botswana, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Cuba, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Greece, India, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Peru, Russia, South Africa, Spain and Turkey. Gilman Scholarship Info Meeting February 14. Come find out more about this great study abroad scholarship for students and get tips on perfecting your application. This scholarship is open to undergraduates who are United States citizens, receiving a Federal Pell Grant at the time of application or during the term of study abroad, and participating in a study abroad program that is no less than 4 weeks. Awards are generally $3,000 for a summer and $5,000 for a semester/year. Summer application deadline is March 1, 2012. The meeting will be held on Tuesday, February 14, from 3-4pm in the Foreign Language Lab, J.B. Hunt room 207.

International Business in Greece Info Session February 14. There will be an info session about the International Business in Greece summer program on Tuesday, February 14, from 11:30am-1:30pm in WCOB 343. This program provides students with insights into the international business and political environment within the European Union as well as a chance to experience Greek culture. International Writers Course in Galway Info Session February 15. An informational meeting for students interested in the International Writers Course in Galway, Ireland, will be held on Wednesday, February 15, at 4pm in Kimpel 339. This four week, six credit hour program is open to both undergraduate & graduate students and offers students a chance to meet Irish writers, polish their creative writing skills, and explore Ireland.

API Representative Coming to Campus February 20. API program representative Chelsea Kindred will be on campus Monday, February 20, to talk about study abroad opportunities through Academic Programs International. API offers over 100 programs in 35 cities within 15 countries, and there are summer, semester and academic year program options available.
