Welcome New Advisor. We are excited to introduce our new advisor Mandy Prorok. Mandy joins us from Iowa. She has been abroad many times to places including Austria, Germany, Scotland, Sweden, Australia, and Japan where she has participated in various programs such as exchange, study abroad, internship, and teaching English. She has also traveled to more than 30 different countries as well. Previously, she worked at Arizona State University & Center for International Studies (CIS) as an advisor. In her spare time, she enjoys international travel (of course!), outdoor activities, sports, watching movies, attending cultural activities, and reading.
Cross Cultural Mentor Applications Available. The International Students and Scholars Office is now accepting applications for 2011-2012 Cross Cultural Mentors. Deadline to apply is Monday, March 28th.
Fulbright Scholarship Program. Now is the time to explore more about the Fulbright Scholarship program! Juniors, seniors and graduate students interested in doing independent research, attending graduate school or teaching English as a second language in a foreign country for a year should look into this great opportunity. This grant accommodates all academic interests and provides a fully-funded year long experience abroad; covers for your living costs, some research, and transportation costs and health insurance fees.
